Spring 2024 CURO Presentation

Over the course of the spring 2024 semester, I worked with another undergraduate research assistant to produce a CURO project studying the affects of climate change and LULC changes on watersheds in SE Puerto Rico under Dr. Felix-Luis Santiago Collazo.

Using WMS, Global Mapper, and statistical analysis in Excel, my partner and I developed a range of predicted rainfall and LULC scenarios based on real UN projected data. Using these scenarios, we modeled a range from best to worst case scenario watersheds in WMS. We presented our findings at the Spring 2024 CURO symposium.
